T-Mobile G1 V2 Bigfoot Image Discovered

The guys over at BoyGeniusReport.com have managed to unearth what they believe is the T-Mobile G1 v2 (Bigfoot) handset.

We first heard about G1 v2 Bigfoot early last week from a leaked T-Mobile 2009 roadmap that listed possible release dates for a number of android powered devices.

New RC33 G1 Firmware Update Begins Rollout

It appears that a new G1 firmware update is currently being rolled out to T-Mobile users. The new update is RC33 and sadly is not the Cupcake update we've all been waiting for.

With only a handful of users so far having received the update, it is still not certain what new functionality (if any) and fixes the new RC33 update brings.

Google is now offering truly unlocked G1's to Android Developers in countries like the United States, UK, Germany, Japan, India, Canada, France, Taiwan, and around ten others. Neither the SIM card nor the hardware is locked down with any restrictions.
