HTC Magic Revealed With T-Mobile Branding – Is This The G2?

During a recent demonstration of their new offline Gmail support for mobile devices, Google revealed a HTC Magic handset branded with the T-Mobile logo.

Vodafone HTC Magic UK Launch In April


Vodafone have today officially announced their first Android phone, the HTC Magic. The HTC Magic will be a fully touchscreen device loaded with updates from the Cupcake development branch.

The HTC Magic will include a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen, GPS, 3.2 megapixel camera (no flash), and a G1-style trackball.

Vodafone HTC Magic Details Surface


According to a report from BoyGeniusReport.com, Vodafone are set to unveil their first Android powered handset exclusively to their European network.

What we all presumed to be the HTC G2, is apparently now the HTC Magic.

It is believed the HTC Magic will feature HSPA, WiFi and GPS connectivity along with a 3.2 megapixel camera and will include the onscreen keypad functionality...

Adobe Announce Flash 10 For Android

Adobe have announced that Flash 10 will be making it's way to the Android platform by the end of the year. In an announced at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona, Adobe revealed that they plan to release their first full-fledged Flash multimedia player for smartphones by the end of 2009.

NVIDIA?s Tegra In Development With Android


Whilst NVIDIA's current focus is mainly on Windows Mobile, the company believe that by 2012 sales of the Android platform will have surpassed that of the Windows Mobile platform.

Samsung Delay Android Handsets Until Late 2009

Samsung's Head of marketing for the mobile device division Younghee Lee, has told The Guardian that none of the companies Android powered handsets will be on display at the Mobile World Congress 2008 event later this month.
There had been speculation that Samsung, which recently leapfrogged Nokia to become market leader in the UK, would unveil its first phone running Android at next week's Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona.
