Jeff Davis
With over a decade of experience, Jeff has provided creative direction and web development for some of the countries leading institutions. Jeff now calls Lake Tahoe, California home, but originally started his career in the south while attending the University of Tennessee.
Gaining an understanding of the web and interface design from self education, Jeff went on to design interfaces for Metallica, HGTV, Mastercraft Boats and the U.S. Postal Service while working his way through college with a local software company. After graduating with a BFA in Graphic Design / Media Arts, Jeff continued his career freelancing and collaborating with other designers until moving to the San Francisco Bay Area to provide creative direction for Cofix Inc., a Silicon Valley start-up aimed at providing packaged services to computer hardware resellers. It was while at Cofix that Jeff developed an appetite for usability and an understanding of the importance in creating intelligent user experiences that are intuitive.
Shortly after the dot com crash in 2001, Jeff parted ways with Cofix and relocated to Lake Tahoe where he continued to work independently as a design consultant. Jeff worked with Intel, IBM, Patni and provided freelance creative services and web development for companies like HUGE, MusicGiants, and Intrawest until co-founding Branded UX in 2008.
